Macromedia Contribute was the
company's answer to a web design program on the scale of fuctionality
of the highly popular Dreamweaver, while still offering customized permissions
to be used by other team members. Administrators can set up user accounts
that have varying sets of permission on the web design, including right
down to where a person is only permitted to change content within a certain
parameter - such as only the article content - while not allowing any
other on-page or code changes that could potentially cause issues.
