Day Two

What a day! Kids are sick, so I spent most of the day making quick-set Jell-O, wiping noses, watching The Little Mermaid (over and over and over), and then realizing it is almost five o'clock and not only have I not started dinner, but the laundry is still piled at the bottom of the stairs where I tossed it this morning and that the bill I promised to pay for Scott today is still sitting by the front door. So I had to bundle up two cranky kids who didn't want to leave Ariel and Prince Eric to go and pay that stupid bill. Then Scott got back to the house before I did, and asked me if I really had to spend all day out shopping, since the house was a complete disaster. Even after I counted to ten, I still felt like clobbering him! All I wanted was for him to watch the kids just so I could have a quick bath when he announced he was going to a buddy's house to watch the game, because he didn't want to worry about getting sick himself. Grrrr.......
