Do you need an "About Me" page on eBay?

Having an "About Me" page is a great way to generate additional traffic, both to your auctions to your eBay store. It is linked to many features on eBay, such as your auctions, your feedback and more. So it makes sense to added about me page for both the traffic and for the branding purposes.

It is very simple to add that about me page on eBay, even if you do not know HTML. When you set it up, eBay will lead you through an HTML editing program to create your page. However, if you are HTML savvy, you can simply cut and paste your HTML code into the appropriate field to create a customized "About Me" page.

Make sure that you include the special eBay code to include things such as all your auction listings, all your eBay store listings if you have one, and perhaps your feedback too. This will create a one-stop shop of everything a potential buyer needs to know about you all the one page.

Your "About Me" page also makes a nice link for you to add to message boards signatures, e-mail signatures, or even to use for advertising purposes. you can also add a tracker so you can see how many people are viewing your page on eBay.
