Always Check for Product Spelling Variations
Did you realize that potential
bidders can be extremely bad spellers. When you are right here option
titles you need to consider the facts that people might misspell that
crucial word in your title. And if a person misspells the word, or the
item has two spelling variations, chances are good they will not be able
to find your auction and bid on it.
So how will you know if the
product has common spelling variations or spelling mistakes? Have a look
at the different auctions that are also selling the product. Does there
seem to be repetition of the product name spelled a couple of different
ways? If so chances are good the you will need to use those same variations
in your own title.
You don't want to miss the
opportunity for getting more bids and more money because you are not being
creative enough in your titles. So definitely use those variations in
your title, and in the body of your auction description as well in case
people are searching by both title and description.
If you are selling multiples,
some sellers will run some auctions using one spelling variation, and
other auctions using the other spelling variation. This will allow you
to use more keywords in your title without being repetitious.
