Common Problems & How to Solve Them

  1. I do not know how to download an eBook, I need step by step instructions to complete the download

Step by Step Instructions
(Don't forget to record your eBook password!)

STEP ONE

Place your mouse pointer over top of your "Click Here" link for your eBook, then right click. Do not use your left mouse button, as this will open your eBook into your internet browser rather than saving the file to your hard drive. When the box pops up (as shown to the right) choose "Save Target As..."

STEP TWO

Choose your "save in" folder to one you will remember, or you might want to create a new folder called "eBooks". You can also rename your eBook file name to something more easier to remember, such as "mymommybiz.pdf" Remember to keep the .pdf extension after the file name.

STEP THREE

Once the file has downloaded, you can choose the "open" button. This will launch your Adobe Acrobat Reader and automatically open your eBook.

STEP FOUR

Enter in your eBook password to view your eBook (you can find it on the download page). You might want to save this password in a safe place, as you will need it each time you download your eBook.

STEP FOUR

Enjoy! You can either read your eBook on your computer, or you can print it out to read a hard copy version of it.

 

Your computer seems to freeze up when downloading

Your computer freezing is caused when you do a regular click on the the ebook file name, causing it to try and open your eBook within your internet browser, rather than launching Adobe Acrobat separately. You will need to RIGHT click on the file name to save it to your hard drive, then you can open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader. For step by step instructions to do this, click here.

 

You are getting blank pages, page errors, or jibberish when viewing your eBook.

This is caused by older versions of Adobe Acrobat (4 or earlier). The current version is 5+. You can download a new version of Adobe Acrobat here, then your ebook should view fine. You may need to download a new copy of your ebook, you can do that by clicking on the last link included in your Clickbank receipt, which you received via email when your order was confirmed.

 

You are having problems printing your eBook

This is caused by older versions of Adobe Acrobat (4 or earlier). The current version is 5+. You can download a new version of Adobe Acrobat here, then your ebook should print perfectly. You may need to download a new copy of your ebook, you can do that by clicking on the last link included in your Clickbank receipt, which you received via email when your order was confirmed. (You will not have to pay to re-access this page)

 

It is asking you for a password, or you forgot your password

Your password was listed right below the "Click here to download" link on your eBook download page. If you need to re-access your download page to retrieve the password, you can do that by clicking on the last link included in your Clickbank receipt, which you received via email when your order was confirmed. This will take you right to the eBook download page again (you will not have to pay to re-access this page)
