Paid Search Engine Submission Service You should only have to submit to each search engine once, and that is it. In my opinion, paying for search engine submission is just a waste of money after the initial time. Submitting more than once will not help in any way whatsoever ~ you are better off spending that money on advertising or pay per clicks. Also note that is can take 3-6 months to show up in some search engines. Google will usually index your site quicker if you have your page linked from sites already in the index. You also have to be extremely careful that these submission services aren't submitting to FFAs (Free for all pages) also known as link farms (there are many submission and promotion companies that say they will submit your site to thousands of FFA sites). Google is the most important search engine by far, and if it finds your site on more than a couple link farms, it will ban your site ~ which means that the only way people will find your site in Google is if they type your specific business name, and then it will still often get buried in the search results. If you get banned, it is not always easy to get unbanned - many say if you are banned, you are better off to start over with a new URL, because Google will bring most pages over 50% of all search engine traffic. FFAs were a way to promote your site about 6 years ago, but now it is just seen the same as spam. So a word of caution, when someone offers to submit your site to FFAs, RUN!
