Many doctor's and dentist's offices spend much needed time daily simply phoning people to remind them of their upcoming appointment. This is hard for offices, as they cannot phone early when the office is not quite as busy, and if they leave it too late, they won't catch people at work to remind them. And they still have to answer their own phones and do the rest of their jobs while trying to phone client's to remind them of the service. When you do this service, the office will fax (or email) you the list and phone numbers of people with upcoming appointments. Then during mid-day, you will phone and followup on each appointment, making notes of any cancellations so that the office may phone back the client to reschedule. You should offer to sign a non-disclosure agreement. For instance, if you are working for a marriage or addiction consellor, he or she will want assurance that you will not blab to other about who is a client. Not only is it unprofessional, you could quickly find yourself out of a job for gossipping. If you can get a daily lineup of offices than need this convenience, you could be set. Determine if you are going to charge per phone call, per day's appointments, per week, etc. Also, other offices may need this service - consider lawyers, accountants, even hairdressers.
