Do you have a natural talent for drawing? Why not consider starting your own coloring book collection, drawing various lined images for children to color. You can then sell these original coloring pages or books, either as a collection or individually.

Most people do not realize there actually is a market for coloring pages beyond the licensed cartoon character coloring books (such as Disney & Looney Tunes) that you see for sale everywhere. But there are actually many places and markets that do buy coloring pages on a regular basis.

Restaurants are often looking for coloring pages with a tie-in to the restaurant for their children's menu.

Museums often offer a coloring page to children (and sometimes even a coloring area as well) that is related to the museum itself. And some sell coloring books in the gift shop, with the coloring pages done as different areas of the museum.

Businesses with a children's activity area also look for themed coloring pages (a hardware store might want coloring pages of tools or a house-building site, for example).

This is a niche business, and if you become well known locally for your work, you will find that people begin coming to you. Don't forget to put your name and phone number on all the artwork as well.
