Creating a coupon book can be a very profitable business you can start from home and the start up costs can be minimal!

The basic gist is you create a coupon book in specializing in your area of choice and then you sell the ad spots to recoup the cost of printing and you then take your coupon books and give them to stores, customers, restaurants, realtors and the like free of charge. Remember you should have already made your profit when you sold your ad space.

To get started you have a few important decisions to make:

1- How will you set up your coupon book?
2- Will it be color or black and white
3- Will you create the ad for them or they will send it to you? Will there be an extra fee if you design the ad?
4- How many pages will there be and what size ads will you offer?
5- Are you going to print the coupon book yourself or hire a local printer to handle that for you? It is very important to determine the cost of printing the coupon book first so you can then include that in your ad pricing.

*What you need: A computer, printer, business cards and a website would be a great start but not a necessity. You will need to get people to buy your ads so your next plan of attack if finding out how and where to reach your potential customers.

*Negative: Filling up your initial coupon book may be a little hard at first. You may have to ask some friends to include an ad just to fill it up that first round so your potential customers can see a finished product.

Getting stores, restaurants, realtors etc to take your coupon books so that you can guarantee your customers are paying for an ad that will reach x amount of potential customers.
