Instructor
Whether you are trained in
ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom, or another popular type of dance, there is
always a demand for dance classes, both for adult and children.
This is not a business you
can run out of the home, but some dance businesses will rent out a community
hall or school gymnasium for evenings or weekend classes. If you have
suitable space, you can offer private lessons in your home.
While children's dance classes
tend to be the most popular, don't underestimate the popularity of adult
lessons for "trendy" dances - past examples of this would include
line dancing, and salsa. Also, baby dance classes (ie. Mom & Me Ballet)
for those aged one and two can be particularly popular, especially since
there are very few classes of any kind offered for this age group.
