Outside painting can be more challenging as now you have Mother Nature and all her glory to deal with. The weather will greatly affect your work if it is raining or snowing and even extremely hot outside.

*What you need: Experience with painting interiors and an exterior with knowledge of the different types of paint and primers, are essential. You will also have to consider the people you may be dealing with. After all this is their home and it is most important to them. We do suggest that you have your customers go buy the paint that they choose so that there will be no misunderstandings later!

Supplies you need include paintbrushes, rollers, ladders and drop cloths. We also suggest a breathing mask as the fumes from paint can be rather strong.

*Negative: One of the biggest negatives to this business as we mentioned above is dealing with different types of people and they may not always be happy after the job is finished even when you painted the exact color they chose!
