Knitting
Business
If one of your hobbies that
you enjoy is knitting, you can also knit for others to make some extra
money. I know I adore hand knitted items but I simply don't know how nor
do I have the time to knit or learn how to knit!
You could set up your business
so that your customer purchases the products needed to make the item and
then they pay you for time. There are several different items you can
knit for others such as:
Blankets
Scarves
Shawls
Booties
Sweaters
Pot holders
Baby Blankets
And much more!
You can search online to fine
a multitude of different samples and patterns to use when creating your
portfolio. People always like to see a sample of your work and how its
done, so its best to have a few different items that you can show them
finished. If you don't want to have your customer buy the products out
right you could also buy them up front and possibly at wholesale costs
which will lower the money out of pocket for the items needed.
Negative: This definitely can
be a very niche market but if you use your creativity and pick a niche
you will target you can do very well on word of mouth alone. For instance
you could focus on baby items such as booties, blankets and more.
