Music
Instructor
If you are talented in voice,
piano, or any other instrument, there are always parents looking for their
children to be taught. Because these are private lessons, if you have
the space (and the necessary instruments), the lessons can easily be taught
in your own house.
One of the biggest problems
instructors have is getting payment, particularly when students do not
show up. When money is tight in a student's family, "frivolous"
things such as music lessons are the first to go. You should always charge
in advance, and require notice for a cancellation. Some instructors utilize
a punch card system, where a parent pays for a certain number of half-hour
sessions, then can schedule them later.
