If sewing is a hobby that you
enjoy and spend your free time doing, why not consider trying to make
some money while doing something you love?
Creating and selling sewing
patterns is a great small business to consider and you also have many
different options and niches you can choose from or add a few together.
A few ideas could be baby blankets, baby clothes, Barbie doll clothes,
dress patterns, pillow patterns, and even pet clothing! The ideas are
endless only to your imagination.
You have two different options
on how to set up your business as well. You can simply sell the sewing
patterns and your customer will purchase it to make the finished product.
Or you could actually sell all the fabric and supplies needed to make
the finished product in a kit. A few niches to this idea would be specializing
in only pets, or kid crafts or baby items.
I for one know I am not very
handy and I would love a guide and pattern to help me create the beautiful
things I want to make; I also know I can't be the only one that wants
this to help them! You can then sell them at your local craft fairs on
EBay and give them as gifts to friends and family and the like.
