Teachers are a big part of
ours and our children's everyday lives. After all they spend a lot of
time with them in school each day, teaching and caring for our children.
You can start a business with
a niche in making teachers gifts! Word of mouth is a powerful tool; just
imagine how many Moms will be talking about the great gift they just bought
from you to give to Mrs. Smith as a year end gift or holiday gift.
To take this concept one step
further but yet still in the same realm, is working with the PTA to make
specialized products to be sold at the book fairs and fundraisers etc.
Items could include bookmarks, book covers, plaques, mugs, sweatshirts,
t-shirts, picture frames and much more.
So basically you could take
this business idea in two different directions or do both in one. You
can specialize in gifts for teachers or you can also find about teaming
up with your school PTA group to sell your products for the school as
a whole. Either option can be a very profitable idea.
Don't be too hasty to say the
school will never agree to it because they are always looking for new
ways to generate money for the school. You could donate back a portion
of your proceeds to the school.
