popular business for work-at-home moms because it is a business that can
be done in the home with kids there. To be a tutor, you should have a
degree (or a great deal of practical experience) in the areas you choose
to tutor. There is a high demand for science and mathematic subjects in
all grade levels, but particularly for high school students.

tutors shave is getting payment, particularly when students do not show
up. And when money is tight, tutoring is often the first expense to go.
You should always charge in advance, and require notice for a cancellation.
Some tutors utilize a punch card system, where a parent pays for a certain
number of half hour tutoring sessions, then can schedule them later.

are charging in your area. You will likely find there is a great demand
for tutors, and there are waitlists for tutoring in many areas of the
country.
