Take Notes of Your Shops
When you go to do a shop, when
you return to your vehicle, always write down any notes about the shop
immediately. The longer you wait, the more likely you are to forget or
embellish details. These are the types of things that could cause you
to be dropped from a mystery shopping company's rotation.
Never make notes in the business
establishment, unless you are absolutely certain you will not be caught.
Some companies will not pay shoppers that are "found out" on
the job.
Always keep copies of your
notes. Sometimes, the company will come back and ask you a question (or
three!) about your shop. If a week or more has passed, you will be able
to refer to your notes to ensure accurate answers.
