How
Long Will It Take to Get a Job After Applying?
It will typically take several
weeks to receive your first job, if you have applied for a half dozen
mystery shopping companies, although it can sometimes take 6 to 8 weeks
for your first job. Of course, these are averages and you could find a
job much sooner than later or vice versa.
If you haven't received a single
shop offer, it is probably time to apply for a new batch of companies,
to broden your horizons and be available for more shops. Also remember
that the more open you are to varied shopping schedules, the more likely
you are to be offered a shop. Saying you are only available on Friday
afternoons between 1 and 3 pm is not realistic.
Do remember that you may not
even hear from a company until months later, even a simple receipt of
your application, so don't be surprised if you receive a call for a shop
offer six months after you first applied to the company.
