It is true, sometimes just having a selling attitude isn't good enough when it comes to selling your direct sales business to someone else. If you are unable to answer questions about the products themselves, this can lose you the booking - or worse - the recruit.

In today's scam filled world, people are more hesitant to sign up for a new business opportunity on the spot, and this often means they are going to ask you many more questions abuot the products and the opportunity itself. And if you are unable to answer the questions or just give vague responses, that will tip off the potential hostess or recruit that maybe you aren't the best person to lead them to party success.

Always read your company handbook. There is a wealth of information you'll find in it all about your business and the products themselves. if you want to know how your company started up, you'll most likely find that information there.

Some companies also offer training literature for consultants, you just need to ask for it. Simply after applying or ask at office if they have any extra reading materials on the products were the business.
