Creating a Downline Listserv

These days, you will find that almost your entire downline has internet access. And a great way to keep in contact with your downline is to create an announcement list or a listserv to send news and tips to your downline.

You will need to decide how you want it to be run.

• Do you want to be the only person able to send an email? Or should anyone be able to ask a question and respond?
• Do you want to restrict membership to only those you approve? Or do you want anyone and everyone to be able to subscribe?
• Will you send plain text email? Or use html email?
• How often will you send?
• Do you want people to have the option to view email on the web (rather than it being sent directly to their in box?). Webmail may not be checked as regularly, meaning your downline could miss important messages.

These are all points to ponder when creating your downline listserv or announcement list. Decide how you want it to be set up, then start implementing one from there.
