Tracking
leads at fairs when you are sharing tables
One thing that makes many
consultants hesitate about sharing a table the fact that not only are
you splitting leads with those who share the table with, but there is
the possibility the you have the potential to sign someone up as recruit
or hostess, yet another consultant is the one who snags her name from
the draw box, and just might talk to that person before you do.
There is a surprisingly easy
way to track leads when you are sharing a table, without making it obvious
to the potential lead by putting your own name on the slip and "claiming
her". Make the same draw slips, but print them out on different colored
paper. So your draw slips might be pink, while another consultant has
green ones, and a third consultant has yellow ones. Simply keep your draw
slips with you, and as people approach the table, if you make the first
contact that person you can hand her your pink slip to enter the draw.
At the end of the day when
you divide the slips up you will know exactly which lead belongs to who.
And this will also make it a little bit more fair if you have consultants
working shorter shifts than others. Just be sure that everyone has different
colored slip so it is quite simple to divide up the leads properly.
