About six months before Azante Jewelry came into being as a direct sales company, I met Cheri Larson, its President and Founder, and had the opportunity to see all of her jewelry designs. I instantly fell in love with them. Up until that time, I had only worn simple 14k gold pieces but the unique designs and the heirloom quality of Cheri's jewelry was hard for me to resist.
Soon thereafter, I hosted a jewelry show and had over $1,700 in sales, earning over $340 in free jewelry. I was able to get a personalized mother's bracelet with my two children's names on it, a Faith Journey bracelet, the entire Aurora collection and several other pieces to give as holiday gifts. From that point on, I was absolutely hooked!
When Cheri told me that she was starting a direct sales company and asked if I would be interested in becoming a consultant, I knew it would be a great opportunity for me. I had become a stay-at-home mom two years before and was looking for something fun that would allow me to get out of the house and meet other women. Since the company has no monthly sales quotas, I felt at ease knowing that I could control my schedule and keep my family as my top priority. I also liked the idea that any time I did spent on my business would be financially rewarding for me and my family. And, of course, I loved that I would also have a wonderful collection of beautiful jewelry to wear everyday!
I really enjoy being an Azante Jewelry consultant. I have no stiff presentations to give. I simply display the jewelry, provide some information and then help customers with their selections. I receive my commissions immediately, averaging $200 to $250 per show.
There are no fees to join or renew with the company and no fees on orders. The company pays for all hostess benefits, ships the jewelry directly to the hostess and takes care of all credit card payments and sales tax. The company also has a customer service department for its customers so consultants can concentrate on selling.
I have a lot of repeat business from existing customers who like to buy for themselves and others. There are a lot of jewelry pieces in the line that make wonderful gifts. There is also new jewelry introduced at least twice a year so I have hostesses who host multiple shows and a lot
of customers who attend multiple shows!
When I signed up as an independent consultant for Azante Jewelry in March of 2003, I was one of only two consultants for the newly formed company. I was excited to be one of the first consultants for Azante Jewelry, knowing that the possibilities were endless for those of us who were fortunate enough to be involved at the ground floor.
There has been a lot of growth in the company over the last two years and I'm more excited than ever about the direction the company is going and the potential for its founding consultants. Twenty two months after I became an independent consultant for Azante Jewelry, I am the top sales consultant for the company for the second year in a row and Azante Jewelry has grown to over 45 independent consultants in 14 states.
