I always said, "I'll never do home parties!" Boy, was I wrong! Shortly after I said that, the Lord led me to Megan's Pantry!
When I joined Megan's Pantry in July of 2003, I was one of the very first consultants (19th) to sign up and the very first consultant in Western Pennsylvania. Talk about having a wide open market! I jumped right into action. During my second month of being a business owner, I challenged myself to complete our "Three Squared Program" (have 3 gatherings/week within 3 weeks or, essentially, 9 gatherings in 21 days). To my delight, I got all 9 booked and completed! My income was approximately $700 (selling $2,750 worth of product) for about 45 hours of work! I got the name of Megan's Pantry out to roughly 90 people, got gift leads, fundraising leads and recruit leads--all within 21 days! Plus, since I completed this incentive, I received $150 worth of free product! Since then, I complete an average of 2-3 gatherings per month (although I completed the Three Squared Program again last fall). Additional income is produced through fundraisers, gifts and commissions from my te am.
In August 2004, I came to the point where I realized that I wanted to produce more residual income. So, I started focusing on building my team. Well, it worked! Within 2 short months, I added 5 new team members and jumped 2 leadership positions! (With my team commission check, I took my family on a mini-vacation! What a joy it was to be able to do that with my own income!) Because I like to help others and want them to succeed, I take the necessary time to train each of my consultants. I can now see the fruits of that labor as well. My team is currently all active and each wants to build their own team! YAHOO!
I thank the Lord each day for the opportunity that Megan's Pantry provides for me and my family. With his help, I will reach my main goal for 2005 which is to train at least 30 additional consultants to do what I do so that they can also make their dreams and desires a reality! God Bless!
