The candles are great! We have a unique collection.
There really is something for everyone. As a presenter, the discount
is fabulous, so I can afford my candle obsession. I signed up having
never seen the candles, but I figured the price of the start up
was low enough that I could at least get a great deal on candles.
Then they came and I loved them. It's really easy and a hoot! I
am a full-time teacher and mother of three and Northern Lights fits
right in! THe money shocked me.
I teach Middle School, so I know you can't fool your audience. You
need to believe in and know your product. They are scented and unscented,
don't blacken glass, and the tapers are truly smokeless and dripless.Word
of mouth has sparked the most business.
Northern Lights is different than other companies as they started
crafting candles on a small scale, so it wasn't a mass produced
product that was developed to peddle around. Now that the company
has grown beyond a "cottage industry," they keep that
same kind of personal commitment!
The BEST part is you don't wait for a paycheck. When people place
orders, you subtract your commission and simply keep it. The money
is easy, because the products really sell themselves. You can do
all of the ordering online and the hostess does the delivery!

videos, a yearly planner, car cling and comprehensive product binder with
all of the pertinent information and forms.

$400.00 per year

is the commission structure?
THe commission structure is quite generous. Presenters
receive 30% off the top. An average $400.00 show, gets you $120.00!!!You
are paid the night of the show. If your monthly sales are $1200.00 (3-4
shows) or more you recive 35% commission. The hostess receives 20% of
party sales in products in addition to great hostess gifts and cash booking
incentives.
