My love for vineyard
tasting rooms began in 1993 when my husband and I toured the wineries
of Napa Valley, CA. It was fun and romantic and people were really
enjoying the experience. We didn't know anything much about wine,
but we knew what we liked!
Perhaps this is why The Traveling Vineyard Opportunity
was so appealing to me. The company's mission is to bring the romance
of the vineyard tasting room into people's homes free of charge
and to remove the intimidation from the wine buying experience and
encourage our guests to trust their own palates. As a former teacher,
I was drawn to the incredible wine education consultants receive,
and I get to pass that wine knowledge along to my guests, which
increases their confidence and makes them more comfortable with
the wine selection process. I'm still far from an expert, but I
am an enthusiast, which is all the company asks for!
One of best things that happened early on in
my business was when I went into our local newspaper to place an
ad. The editor happened to be nearby as I was talking to the receptionist.
He overheard me talking about my business and offered to write a
feature article about The Traveling Vineyard and me! He said that
wine tasting is very trendy right now and he thought people would
be really interested. I can only tell you that from my experience
he was right! I'm amazed at how quickly my calendar fills up with
bookings and recruiting appointments.
I usually get two questions right up front: Is
the wine any good? Can I really make money doing this? The answer
to the first is yes! Our wines are sourced from exclusive boutique
vineyards and must pass a rigous taste test! 95% of the wine is
exclusive to The Traveling Vineyard and is backed by a 100% money
back guarantee. As to the second question, I can only say that like
any party plan, you are only limited by your own imagination and
hard work. What I can promise is that my team never works alone.
I work extremely hard to provide excellent support, training and
fun for those who join me!
