Creating a Recruiting Scrapbook
A very effective tool for recruiting
new reps to your downline is by creating a recruiting scrapbook. What
is this? It is a scrapbook made to show off how much fun (and money!)
can be had and made in your chosen direct sales business.
Now, a scrapbook does not have
to be a grand and fancy affair (unless you happen to be a scrapbooking
consultant, that is!). If you need inspiration, pick up a copy of Creating
Keepsakes Magazine at your local bookstore, or the following books
are perfect for beginner scrapbookers:
Next, choose your album size.
Standard album sizes are 8-1/2x11 and 12x12. If you think you will be
placing many letters and papers in your scrapbook, you are best to go
with a 12x12 scrapbook to enhance them the most.
Now, what should you include
in your scrapbook? Anything that would inspire others to join your business.
You could include layouts of the following:
- Photocopy of your first
check (or largest check!)
- Photos of a party you hosted
- Thank you letters from hostesses
or members of your downline
- Letters of congrats from
your company
- Photos and momentoes of
a company conference
- Photos and momentoes of
a free holiday courtesey of your business.
- Any trade shows or fairs
you participated in
- Awards you have won
- Any successful ads or flyers
you have done
- Anything else you find inspiring
Then get scrapping! When you
have completed your album (or even before you finish it) you will have
a unique way to show potential recruits the wonderful and profitable experience
it would be to belong to your business.
