Why you
Always Need New Leads
You should never stop looking
for new bookings or referrals. Often, a consultant will fall into a comfortable
rut where they docus on their downline, and spend less time looking for
new recruits or hostesses to add to their business.
This is a dangerous trap for
a consultant to fall into, even those with a large downline. Without gaining
new people in your downline, your success will dwindle.
People in your downline lose
interest, move onto another company, or family situations change where
they can no longer run their network marketing business.
Success in network marketing
depends on just that - networking. If you sit back and let others do the
work for you, your income will drop significantly, and it is often too
late to built it back up again if you let it slide for too long. Your
once-loyal hostesses will have moved on to new consultants. New recruits
will sign up under other reps not neccessarily in your downline. Or they
could join with another network marketing company altogether.
Even with a large downline,
if you do not continue to network, your once-successful business will
fail.
