Your
Hostess, Your Recruit?
When you are eyeing potential
recruits at each home party, don't overlook your hostess. For many, she
is your best prospect for a new recruit out of everyone in attendance.
Your hostess has enough connections
of family and friends to be a hostess for a party. These are great traits
of a consultant because she has contacts, and has a supply of new hostesses
for her first few parties.
She finds the product interesting
enough, and something she wants personally, because she is hosting the
show in the first place. If she didn't like the products, she would not
be hosting the show.
Since she is your hostess,
you have already had a lot of contact with her preparing for the show.
She knows you, and feels comfortable working with you, and it is much
easier to get her interested in signing up under you than it is another
guest from the show who is just meeting you for the first time.
When the show is over and you
and your hostess are discussing her earnings for the show, don't fail
to tell her the amount of money should could have earned if she was in
your place instead. This will often help a fence-sitter decide to sign
up as a consultant.
