Using
Google Sets for Keyword Research
Google Sets is a project coming
out of the Google Labs. This little known keyword research tool was released
by Google in 2002. It is considered a prototype, as all Google Labs tools
are, and can provide some interesting insights for related keywords that
many do not think of.
Google Sets allows a user to
input up to 5 keywords. Using those keywords and Google's own search results
for comparisons, Google Sets will then display a listing of keywords it
believes are somehow related to your entered keywords. Each word it supplies
is also linked to the search results, so you can quickly navigate to Google's
results and see what pages are top ranked for each keyword.
Like many keyword tools, you
will find that some keywords are useful, while others are not. But because
it uses a different technology to provide you with related keywords (rather
than just search combinations like other keyword tools) it can result
in some highly targeted keywords the other tools would miss.
Go to Google
Sets.
