MyMommyBiz Submission Guidelines for Authors MyMommyBiz welcomes submissions from authors in a number of catagories throughout the site. We accept only original content. We advertise our site as containing entirely original content, so we cannot accept work that has been previously published offline or online. Submitted articles may also be published in the weekly MyMommyBiz newsletter. Advice & Resources We accept articles in the following catagories:
eBooks We accept eBooks for publication on a commission basis. Please send details including the date written, page count, current format, and description to jen@mymommybiz.com. Do not send attachments at this time. We accept eBooks on topics specific to work-at-home moms (suggestions include marketing techniques, specific start-ups, etc.) Party Planners We are accepting submissions to a new segment on the site which will be launched in the future. This will include articles pertaining to hosting home parties (for both the hostess and the consultant), articles about choosing a business, and more. Submission Instructions To submit an article, please send it in the body of an email message. Do not send attachments unless a prior agreement has been reached. You can send an email to jen@mymommybiz.com Once your article has been sent for consideration, you should expect to hear from us within one week. Please be sure to include your valid email address. Payment Terms We occassionally pay for article submissions. However, we primarily publish articles in exchange for an authors biography, contact information & URL. eBook terms are negotiated on a per-eBook basis, with the author receiving a per centage of each eBook sale made through MyMommyBiz and the network of MyMommyBiz Affiliates. Author is also eligable for additional commission when selling the eBook through her own affiliate link. Copyright Information The author retains all copyrights to her work that we publish on our sites. |
