Do
your Teleworking Research Before Applying for a Job
While it is essential to ask
others if they have heard of a particular company and their reputation,
be sure to also do your own research. Many times it is not the job itself
that was the problem it could be an array of different things. Maybe talking
on the phone was hard with your toddler running around, or you wanted
to work 20 hours not 30 or vice versa.
We all have different reasons
as to why we want to work from our home. For many it is to make money
and not have to leave the house, for some it can be a hobby to keep busy
and for some to make some extra money. Unfortunately, there is still a
stigma that you can find the perfect job online, from home and make thousands.
This isn't the case, while you can make money and find legitimate jobs,
you still have to work and you won't get rich over night!
This is not to say that there
aren't tons of scams out there, because the Internet is undoubtedly full
of them, just make sure you ask questions and find out what exactly about
the job they didn't like or what went wrong.
Please be careful in any and
all job listings you look into, never pay for work and if it sounds to
good to be true, it most likely is!
