Hallowe'en Trick or Treat Marketing Idea With Hallowe'en just around the corner, here is a great recruiting idea to take advantage of all the trick or treaters that come to your house. With parents checking over their children's treats so closely these days, you can easily take advantage of this to get yourself new hostesses, customers or even recruits! First, pick up some of the three-pack crayons. These are similar to the ones you get at restaurants. You can find them at dollar stores or at restaurant supply stores. You may also find them in your local craft store. They are no-name crayons, and usually are red, blue and yellow. Next, print out Hollowe'en themed coloring pages. And on this page, you will want to put a short marketing blurb on there about your business - the perfect time to use your marketing slogan. Include your name, URL (if applicable) and contact details. Next, have a supply of business cards, and place a hole punch in one corner. Roll the coloring page into a scroll, and use ribbon to tie it rolled up. Then attach your business card by threading the ribbon through the whole punch. Then tie the pack of crayons to the ribbon or tape the crayons to the back of your business card. On trick or treat day, be sure to have extra catalogs or even samples on hand for the moms who bring around their trick or treaters. It would also be a good time to wear a promotional button (you can make your own here) Not only are you promoting your business, but you are giving parent's a break by not loading up their kid's with sugar.
