Recruiting on the Internet Recruiting on the internet is something that most people would have thought was impossible only a few years ago. Now, most direct sales businesses have guidelines in place for those who would like to advertise and recruit online. The majority of businesses allow consultants to advertise and recruit freely online, as long as spamming techniques are not used. If you are advertising online, be prepared to check your email at least once a day, and more often if possible. If you are only prepared or able to go online once per week, by the time you respond to any inquiries, chances are, that person has already moved on to the next consultant.
