a Pop-Up Blocker
No matter what pop-up blocker
you decide to install in your computer, you shouldn't follow safe download
practice is it make sure it doesn't come bundled
with a spy ware program. If it is, it can actually add to your pop a problem,
instead of preventing it.
Once you choose your pop up
blocker, follow the installation instruction. Many of them come in the
format of an Internet Explorer browser toolbar. And most will offer additional
features such as the Web search or news link.
The most popular free pop-up
blocker, the first one that was popularly known, is the Google.com toolbar.
Another popular toolbar with pop-up blockers is the yahoo.com toolbar.
And if you have taken care to update your Windows
XP, service pack 2 also came when a pop-up blocker.
While unfortunately not all
pop-up blockers are truly capable of blocking all instances of pop-ups,
it can go a long way to preventing those pop-ups generated by web page
visits, when it isn't a spy ware pop-up issue.
