All About Managed Dedicated Servers

A managed dedicated server is a good solution for those who need an entire server, but don't want the hassle of providing the support the server needs to run smoothly without any concerns of outdated software.

With a managed dedicated server, your host will provide technical support for the server, including upgrading when new patches or updates become available, and to provide any maintenance it may require. If your server goes "down", your hosting company will get it back online for you.

A managed server can be quite expensive, so price is something to keep in mind when you are considering this route. But many view the added expense as worthwhile for piece of mind, particularly when there could be significant lost income if there is a problem with the server.

If you are technically savvy enough to handle the support and maintenance yourself, you may want to consider an unmanaged dedicated server instead.
